1) I wish to travel to Chiang Mai and stay there for a few days. But, I want to leave my heavy baggage in Bangkok. Can anyone tell me where I can leave my heavy baggage?
2) If I stay in a hotel in Bangkok, can I leave my baggage in my hotel by paying some minimal fee.
3) And, how safe can it be?

You can leave your luggage at the airport. They keep it for you very safe.

You want to go to the Northern Bus Terminal at Mochit. You can take the sky train t the Mochit station (last stop) and then a short ride by tuk tuk or taxi.

if you are a tourist...expect that you will be charge higher than the locals.
1)gameboy games - more than 1000 baht (only get it at the department store or authorised gameboy/nintendo shops because there are a lot of fake/imitation games)
2) silk - it depends where will you get it
3) silver jewelry - it depends where will you get it
4) gold jewelry - 10,900 for 15.2 grams or 1 baht (as they called it in thailand) - gold prices change everyday..you can check at the english newspaper
***If you will buy something at the flea market, sidewalk etc...if they quote the price...make sure you bargain it - half the price and try to look around first because they sell almost the same thing... ;>
